The IMQ Introductory Certificate in Management aims to give practising and potential first line managers the starting point for recognition of their formal management development.
It is intended as a first step for those managers who have little or no formal training in management and are unsure of what training they need.
The course provides an introduction to the wide range of skill and responsibilities required by the first line manager.
The programme has two primary objectives:
- To assist candidates to gain the basic knowledge required by a first line manager
- To develop basic management skills
